At Hewshott Farm Stables, we understand that owning a horse is both a joy and a serious commitment — emotional, practical and financial.
Our livery yard provides professional care in a friendly and supportive environment, where every horse is treated with the same attention and respect as our own.
Livery Options
We offer a range of livery services to suit your individual needs:
Full Livery (excluding bedding) – £710 per month
Includes:
- Stable and daily mucking out
- Daily turnout and bringing in
- Rug changes
- Basic hard feed (if required)
- Hay or haylage
Bedding: Charged as used — approximately £20 per week.
Grass Livery – £450 per month
Includes:
- 24-hour field turnout with daily checks
- Rug changes
- Basic hard feed (if required)
- Hay or haylage
Bespoke Packages
Tailored plans designed around you and your horse’s specific requirements.
Turnout is available all year round on well-drained, sandy soil, ensuring horses benefit from regular outdoor time whatever the weather.
Exercise, lessons, clipping, and other services are available as optional extras.
Livery clients are welcome to use our large indoor arena at any time (we recommend avoiding busy lesson periods), and lessons with our BHS-qualified instructors can be arranged on request.
Comprehensive Care
Our experienced team provides a high standard of daily care, with each horse’s wellbeing at the centre of everything we do.
We offer:
- Regular feeding, turnout and mucking out
- Specialist feed, hay and haylage available and can be included in packages
- Exercise and grooming as required
- Access to trusted vets, farriers and physios
- Support with training and competition preparation
We pride ourselves on noticing small changes early and maintaining strong communication with owners — ensuring every horse receives consistent, attentive care.
Facilities for Liveries
Livery clients enjoy access to excellent on-site facilities, including:
- Spacious, secure stabling
- 20x40m indoor, floodlit arena for all-weather riding
- Jumping paddock and training equipment
- Secure tack and feed rooms with CCTV across the yard
- Year-round turnout fields on well-drained, sandy soil
- No mixed herds — each horse has ample space and turnout time
- Flexible access to your horse morning and evening
- Ample parking for trailers and horseboxes
Our location also offers easy access to beautiful hacking routes through open countryside and nearby National Trust land.
Cross-country schooling is also available within hacking distance.
A Supportive Community
Hewshott has a warm, welcoming atmosphere where liveries, riders, and staff support one another. We regularly organise clinics, dressage competition, and social events, creating opportunities to learn, connect and enjoy time with horses in a relaxed setting.

With flexible, bespoke livery options, excellent riding and training facilities, and full BHS and ABRS approval under a 5-Star UK Council Licence, you and your horse will always be in capable, caring hands.
