Charlotte Wheeler

Senior Coach

Charlotte Wheeler is a BHS Stage 4 Coach with extensive experience teaching riders of all ages and abilities in riding schools, privately and in further education.

Charlotte teaches everyone from complete beginners to experienced competitors, including riders working towards Pony Club achievements and BHS Stage qualifications. She works with horses at all stages of training, from youngsters to experienced schoolmasters, and has competed in British Eventing, British Showjumping, British Dressage and unaffiliated competitions.

As a parent of a young rider who competes and is actively involved in Pony Club, Charlotte also understands the equestrian journey from a parent's perspective. Her coaching focuses on developing confident, independent riders through clear communication, structured progression and a strong emphasis on horse welfare.

Steph Janaway

Coach

Steph Janaway is an experienced equestrian coach, competitor and judge, with a wealth of knowledge across a range of disciplines. A BHS Stage 3 Coach and Riding Club Level Showing Judge, she has worked in riding schools, dressage and showing yards, and livery yards.

Steph is passionate about helping riders of all ages and abilities build confidence, improve their technique and develop a strong partnership with their horse.

She has competed successfully in both showing and dressage, with achievements including Overall Coloured Champion at Hertfordshire County Show, Youngstock Champion at the BSPA Championships and Sports Horse Champion at Alresford County Show.

Jo

Jo has been part of the Hewshott Farm Stables team for over 15 years. Although she moved to Cornwall a year ago, she remains very much involved in the stables, continuing to support (nag!) the team from afar.
